it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Playing GaGa Ball develops competency in motor skills and movement patterns ranging from early running and striking/volleying to complex combinations of locomotor and manipulative skills involving jumping, balancing, dribbling, and striking a ball in a highly dynamic environment.
The game helps children learn strategic thinking as well as develop improved control over their bodies through running, jumping, agility, striking, hand eye coordination, dodging, and changing direction skills.
Moreover, the game does not discriminate against skill level or age. Students of all types can participate in GaGa ball and work together as a team.
GaGa Ball is the perfect game for an inclusive play opportunity during Physical Education class. The organized game provides a fun opportunity for children to be active and play. Once children learn to play, they won't want to stop. The quick action and fast turn over of the games keeps all students engaged for the entire period. The skills learned in GaGa Ball can translate to other sports.
