This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are energetic and excited about learning. They overcome many challenges as most of our students are economically disadvantaged. They are very caring and willing to help each other to succeed. Many of my students are English Language Learners. I believe that through a well rounded education my students will thrive.
There are some students that have medical issues as part of their disadvantage, but this does not interfere in their determination for knowledge.
My students learn best by the total physical response and seem to learn faster through technology.
My Project
Students are always excited when we use technology in the classroom. The Infocus JTouch Plus will expose my students with multisensory learning. It will provide my students with a more student-centered interactive learning environment. One of the best features is that up to ten students can go up to the screen to draw, write or take notes providing them with a state-of-the-art learning experience.
Using this type of technology my students will enhance their higher order thinking skills in a hands on way of learning.
This type of technology is the best item to have in class to make learning fun!
