This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are storytellers who have a joy for writing. They love to illustrate their pictures and write about their pictures. Every day students want to express their thoughts and ideas onto paper. They look forward to and enjoy creating stories. They get so excited and inspired when they share their personal narratives with their classmates and families. It is such a great way to support English Language Learners to communicate with their friends.
The materials in this project will give my students writing journals, Emergent books, and Phonics Books that will allow them to blossom into writers while learning about the writing process from brainstorming to publishing.
