Help me give my students a model human heart to improve students understanding of concepts that may sound abstract and impossible to comprehend.

My Students
The majority of my students are below proficiency in language arts, science, and math. Thirty-five percent of students enrolled are economically disadvantaged. With the economic problems our country is experiencing, most of my students have parents who have been laid off from work and are now facing home foreclosures, or staying with foster parents.
My Project
Teaching science with models and kits allow us the ability to see and interact with 3D models that provide a deeper understanding of the scientific phenomena we are trying to explain.
Students can safely interact with models to understand structures, see how different parts interact with each other and make or test predictions about how real life objects behave.
Models give students a vision for their future and makes their future goals seem even more attainable. Models give all students the opportunity to deepen their own understanding which enhances their success.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
