My Students

My students come from very diverse backgrounds. They stem from many different ethnic groups: African American, Caucasian, Pakistan, Yemen, Mixed Parents, and some have no parents. My students are unique and full of energy for learning!

They come into my classroom eager to learn new things and they love working on innovative projects.

They are such an awesome bunch to work with. Reading has become a huge part of their daily routines in my classroom. Although my students have limited technological resources, they are excited about their future.

My Project

By having technology in our classroom, we can make learning fun. It also helps to prepare my students for the future. With the 3 new Chromebooks, students will have a chance to work at their own pace, utilize virtual lessons, and communicate and connect with other students in our school system and the entire world!

Educators also recognize the importance of developing these technological skills in students so they will be prepared to enter the workforce once they complete their schooling.

By embracing and integrating technology in the classroom, we are setting my students up for a successful life outside of school.
