Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a special group of kiddos this year! My students are extremely smart and excited to learn. They are always excited about exploring and learning despite their disabilities. The students with autism in my class are not your typical class.
They have very different ways to learn.
Some are visual learners, some are auditory learners and some are tactile learners. since they learn in different ways they must have multiple ways to learn to accomplish their goals and be successful.
My Project
My students live in the inner city in one of the largest cities in America. Often times they may not have access to things that may be essential for them to be successful! But, that does not stop their inner spirit from learning. My students are superstars with bright lights to shine! They are always excited about exploring and learning despite their disables.
This year I want my student to focus on the use of technology.
There are programs on tablets that they can be beneficial to increase their skills through technology. These programs can be use to check on a students individualized learning and goals, because they will be able to do individual work on the tablets.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
