My students absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects, and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly.
My goal for them is to incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!
My Project
My students vary greatly in their environmental needs when learning. Providing a rug big enough for floor seating will help not only keep my kids socially distanced from one another but provide yet another method for students to feel comfortable and safe within my classroom.
A rug also helps students feel comforted and welcomed.
I want my students to feel at home in the classroom and this is a way to do that for them without sacrificing safety as they come back during a very real pandemic. Big rugs are expensive, though, so I need your help!
