Future Scientists in Action

Help me give my students the tools to be scientist in the classroom!

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Nesbitt's classroom raised $530

My Project

My students are curious, hands-on learners who thrive when they can explore science meaningfully. This project will provide them with weather tools, a rock cycle game, solar oven kits, and science folders to help them engage with key concepts in our 6th-grade curriculum. With these resources, students will track weather patterns, model the rock cycle, harness solar energy, and record scientific data, all while building critical thinking skills.

My Students:

I teach 6th-grade science at a Title I school in South Carolina, where 100% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Despite challenges, my students are eager, inquisitive, and ready to learn! They love hands-on activities and benefit from interactive learning experiences that bring science to life.
