My Project
My 4th grade students are naturally curious, eager to explore, and full of wonder about the world around them. They ask incredible questions and thrive when given hands-on learning opportunities. This year, I want to provide them with a truly unforgettable science experience—dissections!
With your support, I will be able to purchase proper dissection tools and reusable trays to bring life science to life—literally.
These materials will allow my students to investigate real specimens, apply scientific thinking, and deepen their understanding of anatomy and biology in a tactile, engaging way.
Most of my students have never had access to this kind of interactive learning. Many come from communities where opportunities for enrichment are limited, and I want to change that. I believe that when students are given meaningful, real-world experiences, they not only learn better—they begin to see themselves as future scientists, doctors, veterinarians, and innovators.
Dissections will reinforce NGSS-aligned life science standards and spark the kind of "aha!" moments that stay with students for years. Your donation will not only put tools in their hands—it will open their eyes to the possibilities of science.
Thank you for helping me build a classroom where learning is exciting, immersive, and unforgettable!
