it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have had a challenging time exploring their inner creativity in the realm of art. With the rise of personal devices and gaming systems, many students have not picked up a paintbrush until they enter my classroom. I would love to provide my students the opportunity to paint via washable paints, and on large easel paper. I think if they were able to fill a large page with all the colors they could imagine, then they may learn to love art a little more.
Art can be an amazing outlet to explore feelings.
It can help students manage their anger, cheer them up when they become sad, and help them explore things that invoke joy.
