Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school aims to unveil all of the unique gifts and dreams that our students' come with. The students enjoy hands-on engaging projects. Our middle school students are excited to learn and use new technology to be able to discover and research new information to the best of their ability.
My students voice themselves through their works of art.
As a visual arts teacher, I teach all of our wonderful 55 students and they all have something beautiful to create.
My Project
These materials will help my students achieve beautiful projects that they will be proud of. Next year, my students will continue to learn about the Elements of Art and Design but they will not be in an art classroom. Due to lasting affects of COVID-19, I will be traveling to them and I'd like to make the transition period as normal and seamless as possible, while still having all the materials available for them.
There is no real way of imitating an art classroom, however by having these materials available on hand -mobile cart style- it would make all the difference and create excitement once I walk through their homeroom door.
