My Project
The Laguna Tools CNC Laser Cutter and Prusa 3d printers will provide the print lab with cutting-edge tools that can transform learning experiences for students across multiple disciplines! These tools will service a wide range of Classes and Clubs that utilize the room throughout the day. Courses like Design and Drawing for Production, Woodworking , Mechanical engineering, Principles of engineering, STEAM Sculptures, Visual Arts, and more! Clubs often utilize the room after school. Robotics Club creates and prototypes different parts for their Robot. The Musical production often needs props or signage for the set of their upcoming performance. The Goal of our project is to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math to provide a practical platform to explore interdisciplinary applications. Through this platform, students will cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills with industry standard technology. By working with cutting-edge tools, they will develop practical, transferable skills that prepare them for careers in manufacturing, engineering, design and other technical fields. These tools will provide opportunities to students from diverse disciplines to collaborate on shared projects, cultivating teamwork and communication skills essential for all modern workplaces. Investing in this project is an investment into the future of North Shore's educational programs. It will not only enhance curriculum delivery across multiple disciplines but also prepares students for the challenges of the modern workforce. Furthermore, it supports extracurricular activities and fosters a culture of creativity, innovation and collaboration. The addition of theses tools will serve as a cornerstone for engaging, hands-on learning experiences, inspiring students to excel in their chosen fields.
