This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, creative, and ready to take on the world’s challenges. They love asking “why” and “how,” and with the right tools, they can transform those questions into real solutions. I want to give them opportunities to think critically, collaborate, and design projects that make a difference in our classroom, school, and community.

With STEM innovation kits, my students will step into the role of problem-solvers and inventors.

They will work in teams to identify real-life challenges—like how to conserve energy, design stronger structures, or improve classroom systems—and then brainstorm, prototype, and test their solutions.

This project isn’t just about building models or coding robots. It’s about building leaders—students who can communicate their ideas, learn from setbacks, and keep improving until they succeed. By participating in hands-on challenges, my students will develop resilience, creativity, and teamwork skills that will carry them far beyond our classroom.

With these resources, my students will: problem-solve by brainstorming and testing solutions for real-world issues. They will innovate by using creativity and STEM knowledge to design prototypes. My students will lead by working collaboratively, presenting their ideas, and inspiring others.

By supporting this project, you’ll help empower the next generation of student leaders who see challenges not as obstacles but as opportunities to create positive change.
