it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It’s inspiring to work with high school students training to become first responders. They are motivated, compassionate, and eager to develop the skills needed to protect and serve their communities. I love seeing their determination and teamwork as they prepare for careers in emergency services, whether in EMS, firefighting, law enforcement, or other protective roles.
Each resource I select is designed to give them hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of their future responsibilities.
For example, the guide cards helps them practice life-saving techniques and the study books will allow students to practice for the written exam. These tools not only enhance their technical skills but also build their confidence, critical thinking, and ability to work under pressure. These qualities are essential for any first responder.
By investing in these resources, we are helping shape the next generation of emergency professionals, ensuring they are well-prepared to serve their communities with knowledge, skill, and heart.
