This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I often see my students trying to see if materials are attracted to magnets or not. I want to provide them with a variety of materials to explore. Magna Tiles are very popular, and I want to expose my students to the learning opportunities these items will provide. Designing and building are important components of STEAM/STEM lessons. These new materials would be an added resource for these lessons as well.
Using Magna Tiles will promote curiosity and enhance collaboration and creativity.
