My Project
My preschool students love to build and create beautiful masterpieces. Our block area has two sets of blocks for 18 students. Studies shows building with blocks helps develop fine and gross motor skills, increase attention span, learn how to cooperate with others and become self-reliant. Building with blocks also help develop spatial reasoning, a capacity for creative and divergent thinking, hand eye coordination and engineering skills.
Getting more blocks will ensure all of our students gets the opportunity to develop these skills and be ready for kindergarten.
