Can you imagine a writer not a having any paper to write on? Help my students with a basic supply of paper to become the future writers of their community. My school is a Title 1 school and supplies are always a challenge to acquire. My students get very excited when they can print, display, and share their writing. Our ELA/Writing classroom creates various writing performance tasks throughout the year. The students love to share their work and have publishing parties. But they use paper, both plain and colorful, to present their writing to the community. It's amazing to see the sparkle in their eyes when they hold their writing and read it to their parents, administrators, the superintendent, and our district assembly women!
