Please help our middle schoolers blast off their rocketry project with these starter rocket builders. Our aerospace-focused charter middle school uses project-based learning to keep students excited and engaged in learning.
Rocketry helps students learn physics concepts like gravity, force, motion, thrust, center of gravity, and trajectory.
They apply their knowledge of materials science, design principles, and structural integrity to design and build their rockets and use math to calculate things like thrust and velocity, and to understand ratios and proportions in scale models.
