My students need the opportunity to experience a Technology Student Association National Leadership Conference representing the State of Arkansas in Atlanta, Georgia.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Technology changes rapidly and these students understand the technology for changing their futures. My students have won in their categories for Arkansas Leadership Technology Student Association.
Finding your passion can be a challenge when it involves your future career.
I am lucky to be their teacher. Their growth in learning technology skills has garnered a success in coding, engineering, music production, photography, and writing children's stories. I need help to give them a start in their college and career explorations.
My Project
Our Technology Student Association National Leadership Conference will take place from June 21st to June 26th at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
This collaborative student experience will allow our Arkansas qualifying students to attend leadership events in Structural Design and Engineering, Music Production, Coding, Photo Technology, and Children’s Stories.
This event will impact the student's recognition in technology career fields of interest. This trip will give them the confidence to learn how to achieve their college and career goals in a technology related field. I have seen tremendous growth in their learning this year to become qualifiers.
