This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Part of the social development of children is to pretend role play community workers and people they wish and or aspire to be when they are older. During the building study, the students are introduced to what an architect and carpenter is and what they do. With the toys and boogie boards the students can pretend to build a building, use math/STEM vocabulary, and pretend to create blueprints on the boogie boards. The students will be excited to make the colosseum, the tower of pisa, and any building that comes to their imagination.
