My Project
We are constantly striving to live up to the Arts and Sciences in our name. Our newest venture is to begin fusing glass! Our students are devouring books, and what better way to provide an interactive learning experience than by having them demonstrate their learning through a fused glass piece! Maybe the depict a scene from the reading, or perhaps they showcase a theme of the book.
Fused glass is a great way for students to learn a new skill, use art and creativity in the classroom, and create something beautiful grounded in their learning.
We also hope to use the glass in upcoming units like our study of the Harlem Renaissance!
