This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a charter school which is growing immensely with very bright students. My students are ready to learn every day they step into my classroom. They enjoy using technology throughout the day and love new challenges that are brought upon them. The School of Science and Technology is a Title I school meaning more than half of our students come from low-income households. With that being said, I try to give my students the best opportunities to grow and learn as individuals. Our school is filled with students ready to learn new things daily and they are given the opportunity to work hands-on in all they do. Providing them with kinesthetic learning while also using technology allows me to stretch their knowledge. Our students are courageous! Growing up in this era, they need the hands-on, minds-on experiences Osmo will provide for them through kinesthetic learning.

My Project

I am needing the Osmo Pizza Co. Kit, the Osmo Coding Kit and the Osmo Creative Kit to help my students learn to the best of their ability! I also am in need of hardcovers to keep all of these awesome kits safe. These kits will allow my students to learn kinesthetically and use their knowledge and skills to be creative and use their imagination while learning at the same time. They will also teach them how to code different things. My students absolutely love learning through technology and on an iPad so I know they will get the most out of these devices.

Osmo is differentiated depending on each students abilities which allows me to make sure my students are learning on level and progressing.

These kits also allow me to choose what I would like my students to be learning or the activities I want them practicing on. The kits would be an awesome addition to my class and I can not wait to see how they help my students grow!
