Furniture to Promote Independence in the Classroom!

Help me give my students furniture that allows them to independently get materials throughout the classroom.

My Project

The key to student independence is an organized room!

This furniture will be used to hold their materials.

One shelf will be used to hold their book bins. We usually keep the book bins at their desk but the book bins fall over all the time and their materials get lost. The shelf will allow the book bins to be organized and off their desk. The second shelf will be used to hold bins for center time. During center time, the students are able to grab a bin that has a hands on activity for them to do. The last shelf will be for our classroom library. I currently have bins on the floor with their level books. The shelf will allow me to organize the books so that it is easier for students to find a book they want to read.
