This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every morning as soon as I get to my classroom I turn on the CD player. I play Greg and Steve or Hap Palmer, so when my children get to the classroom they'll know they are welcome and they have come a happy and nurturing place.
My classroom consists of 18 four years old.
They are energetic and eager to learn. Every day they come to school with big smiles and great anticipation for what we will learn each day. Unfortunately, we do not have the proper equipment to help nurture their love for these computer games.
My Project
We have a new Math Curriculum that my children are very excited about, it is called "Building Blocks". This program includes math games that they can play on the computer. Their learning experience would be more and exciting if we had the appropriate sized table for our equipment.
Our children will benefit greatly if a child size computer table could be donated to our classroom.
Our children would finally be comfortable and get what they deserve; a child size computer table. I am hoping to get this table for our students which would bring their technology up to the eye level and not to adult eye level.
