This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our children need a table designated for small group activities. A kidney table will facilitate with teacher-led activities. It will provide each child with their own space and better allow the teacher to monitor how each child is working.
The shape of kidney table or "rainbow table" as we will fondly call it will foster a focused learning environment and facilitate interaction between the teacher and each child.
It will better enable individualized attention, while promoting collaboration and participation in activities.
The size of the table I am requesting is ideal for pulling small groups of children for targeted learning without taking up too much floor space. I will be able to easily reach each child at the table to provide support, guide activities, and observe progress.
The table's shape which directs student attention to the center, will provide a dedicated organized space for specific activities and visuals.
