Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach seventh and eighth grade learning support math. Some of my students are constantly in motion and have trouble paying attention. Whether they are tapping their foot, or a pencil off the desk, or fidgeting in their chair, it takes away from their focus on the lesson. They are not doing this intentionally, they just cannot help it.

The flexible seating and bands for the chairs will help my students to be able to focus on their learning.

The exercise ball seats and the chairs with wheels will give them some room to move round and not have to get out of their seat and disrupt the whole class and their learning. The fidget bands can be put on the chairs so the students can bounce their legs on them.

These resources will give my students different seating options so they can be more comfortable and be able to learn.

Since every student's needs are different, these various seats will help me accommodate for all my students' needs so they can better focus and perform better in school.
