"Funding Español: Boosting Language Skills"
We're reaching out for funds to amp up our Spanish program for our mostly African American students, many of whom are tackling Spanish as a second language.
The items we need – Nearpod activities, picture dictionaries, and resources for activities – will really shake things up in their learning journey.
Nearpod activities are like a game-changer. They're interactive, match different learning styles, and can be used in class or at home. With these, we're planning to make Spanish more fun and easier to get into.
Our main goal is to level up language skills for our unique group of students. Being mostly African American and diving into Spanish as a second language, they've got some hurdles. But they've got grit. Picture dictionaries will give them visuals to nail down vocabulary, and the resources for activities will bridge the gap between what they learn in class and how they use it.
What sets our students apart is their dedication to smashing through language barriers. Learning a second language is tough, but their experiences bring something special to our mix. With the right resources, we're not just helping them with struggles; we're cheering on their strength and making Spanish something they can really own.
So, "Funding Español" isn't just about cash; it's an investment in our students' language journey. Nearpod activities, picture dictionaries, and activity resources – we're aiming for a language program that's not just a class but a chance for every student to really shine.
