My Project

As we wrap up our second year doing this advisory, the students and I now understand how much quality and quantity of materials matter.

As we finish our second year running the Marketing and Advertising program, we understand the importance of having enough quality materials.

Thanks to generous donations, we started the year with a good collection of tools, but quickly saw that they were insufficient. For context, most of the planning, creating, and posting happened before 8:30 a.m. We soon noticed how much paint and paper we required and how much time we wasted waiting to share the paint colors and brushes we needed. Ultimately, this causes a delay in our ability to create posters. We need more tools to keep up with the student body's requirements.

With this realization, we also concluded that the quality of materials matters as much as the quantity. Some of our materials just did not allow us to be efficient. With such a small window of time to work with, working with inefficient paint and brushes creates delays.

We have big plans for the 2025-2026 school year. We aim to be more efficient and produce better-quality posters. We plan to focus on the craftsmanship of our posters, which can only happen if we have the appropriate supplies. Please donate to our advisory. We create a positive school culture.
