My Students

My students range from 8 years old to 12 years old. I teach 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Physical Education. Our students are part of a rural community where approximately 75% are considered low socioeconomic status. I also serve two homerooms of self-contained special education students.

My Project

We currently share access to our district activity center / gymnasium with the primary school. We have a divider, so my classes use half of the gym. I would like to get a projector and screen so that I can set up exercise videos, Just Dance videos, or demonstrations for the students. This would mostly be used in small group rotations, but it would also allow me to share videos with the entire group, rather than having to walk around and show them on my iPad. This would make a huge difference in the way our current PE classes operate!
