This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am moving to 5th grade and would like help building up my classroom library. Many of my current books are geared for third and fourth grade students. I am looking to add some higher lexile levels. Additionally, I would Iike a class set of a few novels to engage them in novel studies. One novel will be fiction and one will be historical fiction to further enhance history/ social studies curriculum.

These books will help engage students in history/ social studies topics and encourage them to enjoy independent reading.

The goal of this project is to provide students with a variety of texts.
