The Academic Achievers are critical thinkers and enjoy working collaboratively. It's not too often that a teacher has a class that goes above and beyond to achieve their personal goals. It is truly rewarding to teach a group of students who enjoy learning. They are resourceful, innovative, and hardworking!
My "Academic Achievers" have made great gains in reading and math, but there's no limit to what they can accomplish with the right tools!

My Project
These VersaTile kits will allow my students to practice their Reading and Math skills in a fun way. There are 12 tiles and they fit together to complete different puzzles. The puzzles are challenging and they provide the students with the practice they need to master various skills in reading and math!
My students love learning through games and puzzles!
The tiles allow them to check their work and to make changes if they make mistakes while trying to complete the different puzzles. I have lots of tactile learners in my class and this hands-on approach is perfect because it helps to keep them focused on the task.
