Fun With Snowflakes

My students need snowflake building blocks STEM educational toys, a snowflake book, and BPA free water bottles.

My Students

All of my students live in a large city in Michigan and receive free lunch. Many of my students come to me speaking little or no English. Here, at our wonderful school, there is something for everyone. Even the parents like to engage in our learning opportunities.

My students don't like sitting around; they like to be engaged and to explore new things.

As their teacher, I would like to make available a wide variety of learning materials so they can engage and learn in a variety of ways. I also want to make sure they are well fed so they can concentrate on learning and not hunger pains.

My Project

In my classroom we are always exploring the world around us. As we enter the winter months the cold and snowy days will allow us to explore several STEM concepts. Learning through doing is important in my room.

The Snowflake Building Blocks STEM educational toy will allow my students to create, explore, and learn about the formation of snowflakes.

The Snowflake book will allow us to read and research snowflakes. The water bottles will be used by each individual student as we work through this unit. The paper products will be used in displaying our STEM snowflake projects for our families.
