Fun With Sensory Play!

My Project

Our pre-kindergarten classroom needs engaging sensory materials. Sensory bins provide the opportunity to explore and learn through hands-on tactile play that engages the senses. This allows fine motor practice to increase hand strength and develop proper hand grasp as students scoop, dig, and pour.

The materials will help engage my students in their cognitive learning by allowing them to learn through exploration and play.

I also plan on using the sensory items to allow my students to practice color matching, alphabet knowledge, and number knowledge by learning through hands-on play.
