Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many gaps are being discovered due to Covid 19 and online learning. We are trying to close the achievement gap by shifting our practice to systematic explicit phonics will ensure our students' success.
These phonics games will help our young readers practice their phonics skills in a multi-sensory and exciting way.
The games will help build their confidence to become strong fluent readers. These games will be used daily during word study and literacy center time.
Students of all ages and abilities will have access to these games for years to come. Using the systematic approach the students will progress from basic to more complicated phonics skills.
