Help me give my students the tools they need to get them excited about reading! The teaching easel will help me organize the reading materials so all students can see. The phonics games will keep students engaged.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I currently teach a class of 26 second graders. Our class is multi-culturally diverse. We have 12 boys and 14 girls. Despite having been online most of last year they have made huge strides in their learning. This class is full of kind-hearted and hard working students.
I have such a wide range of reading abilities and these phonics games will help give my students the extra practice they need to become fluent readers.
Anytime I can make learning fun I find that my students are more likely to stay engaged. These phonics games will help with engagement. Thank you!
