This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students from Indiana are part of an amazing set of kids. They are entering a 2nd grade classroom where there will be many different cultures and backgrounds.

I want my classroom to feel like a family and they know they will be loved, the second they step into my classroom!

My students are excited and eager to come to class every day!

My Project

In our school district, we are in our 2nd year of using EL Education. As we are learning this program, we need to make our phonics lessons more engaging!

This project will purchase super engaging PowerPoints that will help the students learn their phonics for this year.

Learning phonics is such an important skill in 2nd Grade, that I want to purchase specially made PowerPoints for my students to follow and learn from!

I believe this project will help the students immensely by making the material easier to follow and having the students actively engaged in all lessons!
