Help me give my students the splash reading game and the touch read phonics for opportunity to practice phonics.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Smith's classroom raised $301

My Students
I work at a Title I school. That means that more than 50% of our families are low income. The families are working hard to provide for their families, but they struggle to make ends meet.
At our Title I schools, we have all day kindergarten.
We have a small group time when the students will be able to use these materials. During this guided small group time the students work with different materials that help them learn their letter names and sounds, blending and reading skills. They need a lot of practice with these skills and these manipulatives will give them that practice they need. The headphones are also used during this time so that the students can use a tablet to access the district approved reading and math programs. Practice is the key.
My Project
These items will be used during a small group lesson where the teacher is working with all the students to learn how to blend letters together to make words. This process is a big jump from learning the letter names and sounds.
The students will learn how to blend so they can sound out words to read books.
All the students will work with the materials as they rotate through the center in small groups. Games are a great way to learn and make a skill solid for future use.
More than half of students from low‑income households
