This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These math manipulatives will be used to help close the achievement gap due to loss of learning during the pandemic. They will give student a fun and concrete way to view and understand math. Students will also be able to work in groups creating and discussing math problems; guiding students to learn how to work together again after being isolated during the pandemic.

This grant would purchase manipulatives for every module throughout the year ensuring students get the best math experience all year long.

Using these manipulatives will allow me to guide students from concrete learning to abstract thinking.
