Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hi! I am a first year teacher. My classroom is composed of 20 kindergarteners and are all very excited to start the new school year. In these uncertain times, I would like to create a welcoming environment for all kiddos coming into my classroom and that is why I need your help! My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment while also supplying enough resources for my students to be successful this year.

My Project

With these math resources, students will be able to engage and become motivated to participate in our math learning. Students this age learn by being hands on, having enough manipulatives will allow me to give each student the opportunity to engage in interactive math lessons! When we are learning using real life stories, I would love to have the matching manipulatives and resources to make their learning as authentic as can be. Due to our current situation, we are not able to share materials, leading us to using the same two manipulatives during our math learning. Help us have fun with math!
