My students need fraction manipulative materials and practice cards to master their math standards.

My Students
My students attend school at a Title I school, so a majority of the students come from families with low incomes. Some of them are learning English as their second language and having hands-on and very visual learning experiences are best to really help them get the vocabulary necessary to be successful in school.
My students are full of excitement about learning and love coming to school!
The students I work with are full of great questions and really care about doing their best. Some of them are dealing with challenges in life, but they are all wonderful kids and a joy to work with!
My Project
The students in my class in years past have really liked the visual models I have provided when teaching fractions. These parts of whole concepts are a little tricky for them, but when they can really see it, it helps many of them get to the point where they can master the concepts required of them.
The materials I am asking for in this project will allow me to have some engaging fraction practice for all the students in my class.
I'm including Fraction Tiles with Tray sets, Common Core Collaborative Fraction Cards, Math Fraction Dice Sets, Magnetic Fraction Strips, Magnetic Foam Fraction Tiles, and a Paper Collection Fraction Bars set.
I anticipate being able to allow students to work in small groups together with these materials. After I teach the whole class, I like to pull back some students for additional practice and instruction, but meaningful and related activities for other students are necessary for me to effectively do this.
