My students need a wireless color printer and ink cartridges!

My Students
I strongly believe that learning should be fun and engaging. Typically when I teach a new skill, I like to spend some time introducing that skill to the whole class first. Then, I like to give students an opportunity to practice that skill. What better way to practice than with a game?
I have 24 very active students!
We rarely spend much time sitting at our tables. I like for students to have the ability to interact and learn with each other by playing games related to skills we are learning. If we aren't playing an educational game, we like to use creation apps on the iPad to demonstrate an understanding of certain skills. Students are so proud of their creations, however, it becomes difficult to share those creations with their parents at home.
My Project
I am requesting a wireless color printer and several ink cartridges so that I can print and create colorful literacy and math games for our classroom. Our school currently has one color printer located in the office. If I want something to print in color, I have to forward the file to the office. Sometimes, because of school budgets, we have to limit our use of the color copier.
It would be so convenient to print games right in my classroom! I would also love to have the ability for students to print work they create on their iPads in the classroom. We are very lucky in that our school has several iPad carts for us to use to enhance our learning. We love using creation apps such as PicCollage to show our understanding of certain skills. Students are so proud of the work they create! We are able to save these creations on the iPad, but it would be so helpful for students to print out their work to hang into the classroom or take home to show their parents.
We can all agree that color brightens everything!
Having access to a wireless color printer will help brighten our classroom. I would be able to use this color printer in many different ways. There are a variety of printable literacy and math games available to create. Being able to print right from my classroom would make games readily available. I can also print out students' work on iPads to send home. Parents could see the value in using iPads in our classroom.
