This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
STEM education is vital for students for a variety of reasons. Stem education provides opportunities for students to enhance their critical thinking and creativity, and provides them with numerous opportunities for hands-on, engaging, and cooperative work with their peers.
I hope to prepare my students for an evolving, highly technical, workplace that will demand the skills that STEM provides.
The resources I am requesting for my classroom will provide my students with hands-on resources to enhance their creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. These products will also offer new opportunities and engaging activities for my STEM students and build their enthusiasm for additional STEM learning. We are currently learning about the work and experiences of men and women in the aerospace industry. We are particularly interested in the skills and knowledge utilized by the engineers that turn innovative ideas into reality! Resources such as the Estes-1751 Alpha III Rocket Bulk Pack, and Estes AVG Rocket Bulk Pack, and Estes 2274 Recovery Wadding will help my students further connect with aerospace engineering in a hands-on, creative, and engaging way!
