Fun Ways to Count and Write

Help me give my students doodle boards, drawing paper, counters, and other resources for counting and writing opportunities with counting manipulatives and different ways to practice writing.

My Project

I teach the most amazing kindergarten students in the great state of Arizona. They love to count and they are learning to love writing. When it comes to practicing both of these skills, the students love a hands-on way to practice. They are going to love writing with the doodle boards and dry erase crayons, and we will be building their upper arm muscles by writing on the dry erase tape on the side of their desks. Kindergarten students love to count small objects and these little bugs and fruit are perfect for counting. Wahoo! Let's count and write!
