Fun Summer Learning

Help me give my students bags of materials to stay safe and cool this summer while engaging in reading and outdoor play.

My Project

My learners have been through a lot of transitions this year. They started with a substitute teacher while I was on maternity leave. Shortly after my return, our beloved assistant got a promotion and she left our classroom. We've had to go on quarantine due to Covid-19 exposure. Then our school district went on distance learning for a month. All of this happened in their very first year of school. Yet, my students were resilient through it all!

I'd like to reward my learners for their hard work and encourage them to use their imagination, create, and play all while learning this summer!

Transitioning to summer break is another tough transition. They may lose the structure and routine they had in the classroom environment. Additionally, they may not have toys at home that will engage them and help them grow. In this package, I'd like to include popsicles and sunglasses for staying cool in the sun, books to encourage reading, toys to encourage outdoor play and movement, and masks to keep them safe. Please help me bring a smile to my learners' faces!
