My Students

There is a Chinese proverb that says "To learn a language is to have on more window from which to look at the world." By learning another language my students are gaining a great understanding and appreciation for the world around them. They are gaining insights that broaden their world.

My students are incredible learners seeking for a way to expand the world around them.

They are bright students who want to better understand their community and the communities around them. They desire to know more about themselves and those around them. By learning a second language they are connecting with others and breaking down barriers. They are becoming global citizens that are learning to be able to change the world.

My Project

Learning a new language is hard. These posters will help students to remember to try and to continue to have a good attitude about learning a language. These fun posters will help beginner students feel comfortable and confident in speaking and thus learn more. They will also help more advanced students further their vocabulary and expand what they know.

Reading is one of the best ways to learn a new language.

With the Harry Potter series my students will be able to enrich their vocabulary and further their understanding in Spanish in a new and fun way.

Having these white boards will help me be able to see exactly what my students are understanding and what we need to reteach. They will also help the students to learn in engaging ways and enjoy understanding the world around them.
