Fun Speech Therapy

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These hands-on activities will help motivate my students to participate in speech therapy. The games will target pragmatics and social skills. The Melisa and Doug activities will help to target following directions, sharing, prepositions, expressive language, vocabulary development, and more.

The iPad will help the student learn how to use the device as a way to communicate through the Touch Chat app or to quickly access ASL pictures and gestures.

The iPad can also be used to play learning games as a reward for students after their other speech therapy tasks.
