This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are doing their best to excel in the classroom and although everyone should learn about delayed gratification, it encourages adult and kid alike when you receive a reward along the way to your ultimate goal. This project will help provide my classroom with a diverse variety of small rewards for a job well done - mostly for high marks on classwork but also for overall excellent behavior and/or kind actions. This 6th grade classroom has students aged 10-13, from a variety racial/ethnic identities, in a pre-dominantly under-privileged economic neighborhood.
