My Students
My students are a diverse group of kids who have various strengths and needs. They are in a first-grade integrated classroom setting that includes students who are diagnosed with multiple disabilities. When they come to the classroom, they are eager to learn and motivated to try their best in each subject and activity. Watching them grow each day is a privilege.
To help them succeed in the classroom, my students benefit from multi-sensory activities and flexible seating options.
My students are best supported through a highly structured environment with hands-on learning and visual supports. Keeping their needs promotes communication and interaction among peers and adults.
My Project
My students are diverse learners who are eager to learn new things each day. We focus on group work to enrich and foster their love for learning through community building and teamwork. Leveled readers, classroom timers, and chime and sensory tools will help facilitate this love for learning. These materials will benefit our students, allowing them to work in leveled reading groups and practice essential literacy skills as they move throughout their classroom day. We emphasize teamwork, compassion, and learning throughout our classroom environment.
