Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have been working hard all year, and I want to be able to provide them with fun, but also educational things to do over their summer break! The buckets will be used to hold their goodies, the bubbles and sunglasses will be used for fun in the sun, and the books and Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will be used for educational things to add to their buckets.
Kids who do not read or continue learning over summer breaks have been shown to "slide" back with their knowledge, and have a harder time coming back the following school year.
