This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am so excited to be starting off this school year in a brand new state and grade level! Unfortunately, because of the big move, I wasn't able to bring over a lot of what I had acquired in my 4 years of teaching. I am asking for some help in getting some items that I know will bring joy and excitement into the classroom. I would love to use the flexible seating at my small group table. I hope that this will make time intervening on different skills more enjoyable for the students and make it a fun space. The books are for the students to have a better variety and have some topics that they resonate with. Lastly, the prizes are for rewarding those students who are working incredibly and to encourage others that may need the motivation.
